Don't Let The EGO Stop U.

This Picture Speaks a 1000 Words

At a superficial level, 'ego' seems to be a small word but it actually has a great power to change not only simple things but also big relationships.

Any relation stands on the pillars of love, care, respect and trust. Words like 'we', 'us', 'our' symbolizes oneness, togetherness and unity. Whereas, words like 'I', 'me', 'my', 'myself'' are the words used by an egoistic person. In a successful relationship there is no place for selfishness and ego.

It is a universal fact that men are the ones who have ego problems. Females are just the opposite in most of the cases. And once ego takes the place of love then the consequences can never be positive.

My question is as to why always women have to compromise and adjust be it home or a workplace?

Sometimes, the ego clashes that take place between husband and wife are on meagre issues but they can take an ugly turn in the long run. Even fairer section of the society has feelings and emotions. It is presumed that no matter what the females will not have problem in any situation.

Ego clashes like –
1. Why haven't you asked me before going to your mother's house?
2. Why did you ask me to bring vegetables alone?
3. Why you interrupted in between when I was talking to the cab driver?
4. Why will I close the main door of the house after the maid has left?
5. How can you ask me to hang the washed clothes, why can't you do it?

The aforementioned issues are not so big that can not be resolved but surely such things mar the beauty of any relationship. Also a couple could divide all the tasks equally so that one doesn't feel over-burdened. The relationship of husband and wife is the most special in this world. Moreover, in today's time where both the partners are working then helping each other is normal and should not be made an ego issue by males.
